When it comes to posting on social media, there are many reasons why you’d want to schedule your content in advance. For most, it’s a matter of convenience. For us, however, we schedule our clients’ posts because it’s in their best interest. There are statistically good and bad times to post on social media if you’re trying to get as much engagement as possible.
Why does it matter? Well, when you post on social media, timing is very important. In respect to your viewers’ timezone, posting too early will cause it to get buried below the subsequent posts that occur before the next time they log in. Posting too late will have the same effect – but worse – because it will likely be even longer before they return.
As an added benefit, it helps to have all your content scheduled on a calendar to ensure your most important content is posted at the right time and your followers receive a consistent stream of programming.
