Email Retargeting
Email retargeting is using the information you already have about your customers to refine the information you send them by email. A common use for email retargeting is to follow up with customers who leave your e-commerce site with items still in their cart, otherwise known as abandoned carts.
The way you get that customer information is via a browser cookie, which is a small file dropped in your browser when you visit a website. It’s the same kind of file that’s used to keep items in your shopping cart when you leave and return to Amazon.
What can you do to win more customers if you’re running an eCommerce or retail store? A lot of potential customers make short visits and then disappear forever. But what if you could capitalize on more of those lost opportunities and get more business?
Email retargeting is one of the most effective ways to recover those lost opportunities.
