A Nampa woman is behind bars following what Boise Police described as a domestic situation at East Junior High School.
Police were summoned to the school on Warm Springs Avenue just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, following a report of a threat made against an adult at the school. The school was placed in lockdown to ensure the safety of students and staff. Police later located a female suspect in a car in the school parking lot. Police said the suspect had no lawful reason to be at the school, and when they attempted to take her into custody, she resisted.
Monica Walters-Wolfe, 34, of Nampa was booked into the Ada County Jail, charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting and obstructing. She’s scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday, May 9.
