The homecoming committee is accepting nominations for grand marshal of the upcoming homecoming parade, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3.
The grand marshal serves as leading dignitary at the front of the homecoming parade. The role is bestowed upon an alumni, staff, faculty or community member who has shown an exceptional commitment to Boise State University and the community at large. The deadline to submit is Sunday, Oct. 8
Previous grand marshalls have included Leon Rice, Mayor Dave Bieter, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl team and Steve Swanson, distinguished educator in residence.
