- Rediscovered Publishing is set to release its first title, A Kid’s Guide to Boise.
Rediscovered Books is having a big year. Earlier this spring it revealed it had purchased used bookseller Rainbow Books, and on Wednesday it announced the full-fledged launch of its publishing arm, Rediscovered Publishing, with the upcoming release of a children’s book, A Kid’s Guide to Boise by Rick Just.
According to Rediscovered Publishing, the Kid’s Guide is a “complete guide for what to do, where to go, what to eat all around Boise for kids and their parents—whether they live here or are just visiting.”
Boise got a taste of Rediscovered Publishing in 2017, when it participated in the release of Half the World, a chronicle of the lives of several refugees living in Boise. Rediscovered Books co-owners Bruce and Laura DeLaney, who also own the publishing house, said there has long been a market for Boise-centric books for children and adults.
They are gearing up for a launch party and book signing at their downtown location that will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31.
