Let it never be said that Boise Weekly isn’t a patron of the arts. On top of doing a wealth of arts and culture reporting, we have an arts grant program fueled by the auctioning of the original works we publish on our cover each week, and host an annual short fiction contest. Plus, for the last 16 years, we’ve held the Boise Weekly Black & White Photo Contest, the submission period for which is now open!
The rules are simple. We’ve gone digital, and photographers can submit as much of their work as they want at a rate of $6 per entry. Prizes and glory will go to the top three entries in each category (people, places and things), and the grand prize-winning photo will be published on the cover of the issue announcing the winners. Entries must be received by Tuesday, June 5, at 5 p.m.
Winners will be announced, and their photos published, in the June 27 issue of Boise Weekly. Good luck!
